TruthIsAll: Nov. 4th 2004. "To believe Bush won, you must believe..."

DENYING THAT 2004 WAS STOLEN IS LIKE DENYING GLOBAL WARMING...

Our good friend was so right and it was only 11:07PM election night. He knew what we all know now: the sucker was stolen. No way to put "lipstick on this pig." Stolen, outright. What else would you expect from people who: stole it in 2000, who lied us into war; trashed the environment when the world knew we face an eco catastrophe; who set up "TWA" (Torture World Airways); tapped every device in America, violating our privacy constantly; created a cynical ploy to steal future elections called "the Help America Vote Act" (renamed the Republican "Help yourself act"). Oh, but we're supposed to be prudent and not say the words "never to be spoken"...STOLEN ELECTION.

I'm happy to say it. Like many of you, I miss our most precise and determined warrior, TruthIsAll. I have no updates but continue to hope...

Once, I asked TIA why he did all this. He said, "I'd just like to vote and know my vote was counted and that others could do the same. Plus, I hate Bush."

Here's the masterpiece on election night...the message that started the election fraud movement, right here on DU.

To believe that Bush won the election, you must also believe...

To believe that Bush won the election, you must also believe:

1- That the exit polls were WRONG...

2- That Zogby's 5pm election day calls for Kerry winning OH, FL were WRONG. He was exactly RIGHT in his 2000 final poll.

3- That Harris last minute polling for Kerry was WRONG. He was exactly RIGHT in his 2000 final poll.

4- The Incumbent Rule I (that undecideds break for the challenger)was WRONG.

5- The 50% Rule was WRONG (that an incumbent doesn't do better than his final polling)

6- The Approval Rating Rule was WRONG (that an incumbent with less than 50% approval will most likely lose the election)

7- That Greg Palast was WRONG when he said that even before the election, 1 million votes were stolen from Kerry. He was the ONLY reporter to break the fact that 90,000 Florida blacks were disnfranchised in 2000.

8- That it was just a COINCIDENCE that the exit polls were CORRECT where there WAS a PAPER TRAIL and INCORRECT (+5% for Bush) where there was NO PAPER TRAIL.

9- That the surge in new young voters had NO positive effect for Kerry.

10- That Bush BEAT 99-1 mathematical odds in winning the election.

11- That Kerry did WORSE than Gore agains an opponent who LOST the support of SCORES of Republican newspapers who were for Bush in 2000.

12- That Bush did better than an 18 national poll average which showed him tied with Kerry at 47. In other words, Bush got 80% of the undecided vote to end up with a 51-48 majority - when ALL professional pollsters agree that the undecided vote ALWAYS goes to the challenger.

13- That Voting machines made by Republicans with no paper trail and with no software publication, which have been proven by thousands of computer scientists to be vulnerable in scores of ways, were NOT tampered with in this electionh

Thanks, autorank. I'm also more than happy to acknowledge TIA as a leader of the election reform movement!

(While still extremely fast, the post appears to have been made on Thursday while the sel-ection was made on Tuesday. I was not yet even coherent on Thursday, being in shock and all. How did TIA do it?)

16. Welcome Stevepol...the Truth can't die. 2004--Stolen Election II
Let's finally say we've had enough, say this as a nation, and remove the usurpers and their appointees. There is no reason to tolerate this nonsense one more minute. Everything they've done lacks legitimacy; every appointee they've made should be removed since the appointment would not have taken place had it not been for the theft.

Cheers and keep up your great work.

23. Shhhhhhhhh
Everyone knows that Bush stole '04. We knew before he did it. We knew going in that, if John Kerry won, then he was the rightful winner, and if George Bush won, then he stole it. Since our foresight was so great, all we need to do now is find strong and suggestive language to provide a laundry list a mile-wide and an inch-deep of why we're so embittered and jaded.

At any rate, how you do expect the rampant groupthink that takes place on this board to continue with you expressing your opinion? Really, you gotta think before you post.

30. I think I should do something about those things...
But not on my list of things to do is to type up and spread around a poorly-framed string of weak arguments. I guarantee that for every exit poll that had Kerry winning there was an exit poll that had Bush winning. Hell, Rasmussen Reports got nearly everything in 2004 right, and I'm sure a lot of internal polling for a lot of people did as well.

I don't buy into the Diebold conspiracy theory. I don't buy that every close election that's been won by the Republicans has been swung by a massive conspiracy and apparently no one has said a peep about it. There are voting irregularities and blatant misjustices, and those should be pursued to the fullest extent, but the more you lump in baseless attacks, the easier it is to categorically write-off the entire project as wacko, which is what the MSM has done thus far.

you sure have not been listening or reading much... There are lots of good books and websites out there for you to peruse. Be sure to check out Steve Freeman's upcoming book. And hang out on John Conyer's site for a while and take a look at his report. Solar bus and Voter's Unite has lots of nice links for you.
Check out the Election forum here on DU.

All of this could help educate you to things that you seem to have missed while you tag team post with your friends..Happy reading!:hi:

25. I have too. Will Pitts Nov. 8, 2004 Story--1st to cite TIA's list-Amazing
This 11/08/2004 article by Will Pitt is a piece of American history. It summarized, in an amazingly comprehensive fashion, the likelihood of theft. About 3/4ths of the way into the article, italicized paragraph below, he cites TIA's "To believe Bush won, you must believe..." This was the start of the popularity of this list. It went all over the internet in record time. To get it people had to "google" because there was no link, although the points are presented in full. TIA always credited Pitt's article below as the start of a lot of attention to his work on election fraud. Nice job Will and a classic article.

Worse Than 2000: Tuesday's Electoral Disaster
By William Rivers Pitt
t r u t h o u t | Report

Monday 08 November 2004

Everyone remembers Florida's 2000 election debacle, and all of the new terms it introduced to our political lexicon: Hanging chads, dimpled chads, pregnant chads, overvotes, undervotes, Sore Losermans, Jews for Buchanan and so forth. It took several weeks, battalions of lawyers and a questionable decision from the U.S. Supreme Court to show the nation and the world how messy democracy can be. By any standard, what happened in Florida during the 2000 Presidential election was a disaster.

What happened during the Presidential election of 2004, in Florida, in Ohio, and in a number of other states as well, was worse.

Some of the problems with this past Tuesday's election will sound all too familiar. Despite having four years to look into and deal with the problems that cropped up in Florida in 2000, the 'spoiled vote' chad issue reared its ugly head again. Investigative journalist Greg Palast, the man almost singularly responsible for exposing the more egregious examples of illegitimate deletions of voters from the rolls, described the continued problems in an article published just before the election, and again in an article published just after the election.

<snip>

A poster named 'TruthIsAll' on the DemocraticUnderground.com forums laid out the questionable results of Tuesday's election in succinct fashion: "To believe that Bush won the election, you must also believe: That the exit polls were wrong; that Zogby's 5pm election day calls for Kerry winning Ohio and Florida were wrong (he was exactly right in his 2000 final poll); that Harris' last-minute polling for Kerry was wrong (he was exactly right in his 2000 final poll); that incumbent rule #1 - undecideds break for the challenger - was wrong; That the 50% rule - an incumbent doesn't do better than his final polling - was wrong; That the approval rating rule - an incumbent with less than 50% approval will most likely lose the election - was wrong; that it was just a coincidence that the exit polls were correct where there was a paper trail and incorrect (+5% for Bush) where there was no paper trail; that the surge in new young voters had no positive effect for Kerry; that Kerry did worse than Gore against an opponent who lost the support of scores of Republican newspapers who were for Bush in 2000; that voting machines made by Republicans with no paper trail and with no software publication, which have been proven by thousands of computer scientists to be vulnerable in scores of ways, were not tampered with in this election."
