Update in Florida citizen-activist investigating election fraud
I *really* would like to keep this in the public eye, but honestly don't have time to write another real diary about it at the moment. But I'veposted the above comment, more or less, as a diary at Kos. If anyone would like to give it a recommend, it's here.

Citizen-activist/Florida election inspection

More on Charlie Grapski, the citizen-activist who was arrested while investigating voting irregularities. There's a good editorial that sums up the story so far.

Stop the games; show Grapski the documents

4. Your second link is very confusing

It seems to be written by someone who is not familiar with local government in Alachua County.

Just to clarify:

Alachua County is in No. Central FL and has their own Board of County Commissioners. Mike Byerly is a member of the Alachua County Commission.

Then within Alachua County is the City of Gainesville and the City of Alachua. Both have their own Board of City Commissioners. So when referring to individuals or commissions it is very important to make the distinction between which entity you are referring to.

5. Before people recommend a story
You all might want to read the story first.

This is not a great big Election Fraud issue.

It's about some guy whose got a beef with a very small municipality over a handful of votes. From what I'm reading this guy sounds like a male version of Bev Harris.

6. Truth is an expensive commodity.
As JEB put it:" there are about a Million people who want the truth and they are all poor."

7. the Alachua Co. voting commissioner is anti-"BBV"
A few years ago a friend of mine contacted the Alachua County Voting Commission office to make sure e-voting would not happen in Alachua County. She got a nice letter back stating that the commissioner totally agreed with her and that electronic voting machines would not be used in the county.
We do however, use opti-scan, which may or may not be trustworthy. Alachua County is a blue county in a sea of red, and it was as usual blue in 2004.
