His religious faith guides his political views. It fueled his conversion to Roman Catholicism in 2002. Now, when he returns to Topeka for weekends with his family, he attends Sunday Mass by himself before joining his family for a Protestant service.

1. I don't care which denomination of faith Brownback is, or where he
shows up on Saturday or Sunday for services.

I do care that he's essentially a fascist and I hope he gets nowhere NEAR the Republican ticket in 2008.

He's a very dangerous person, in my opinion.

2. I hope he gets that damn nomination
Fuck, we'd take the White House, and probably the House and Senate, in a walk if that crazy fascist motherfucker got the nom.

3. Well, yeah. From that point of view, I see it. But it would signal
a complete takeover of the Republican Party by lunatics.

It's already overrun with them now, seems like.
