Maybe it would sink in what he has done. There was a couple of anti-war comments during the film. One of the Chaplains while praying for a young Marine who passed away mentioned this "Senseless War".A surgeon leaving the operating room after the death of a young soldier called the war "This Stupid Fucking War". One of the first scenes a doctor dropped the amputated arm of soldier in a waste container. The operating room scenes seemed similar to what happens in a slaughter house. My wife had tears in her eyes and said I can'nt watch this.I had tears in my eyes for most of the film.

1. It was brutal, but you know the documentary was not half as
brutal as what's really going on. I wonder how those red bags are bought (by the gross, ton, etc.?), the ones the limbs are dumped into? Heartwrenching.

2. We could only hope it would affect him.
I don't think so though - I don't think the man is capable of feeling empathy or concern for others - doesn't have the capacity to feel real emotion.

3. Absolutely ...
It would not faze him one freakin iota ... The only thing that would register with this little puke is if he actually had to go out, in country, with the troops and get into a few skirmishes ...

ALL of these punks, Cheney, Wolfowitch, Pearle ... The intellecuals who cooked the whole scheme up, the Krauthammers ... The Hannities, the 1000s of puke radio hate mongerers, Fox news ... The other MSM sell outs ....

ALL of them should be made to go over and wander around Iraq for a couple months, and not in the garden (green) zone or one bases ...

As for watching Bagdad ER ... The rest of the mindless sheep should be forced to watch it time and time again ... Of course, the weak minds have probably been assimilate to the point that it would not matter, but ...

I don't know if I can keep watching it, cause it just pisses me off to a whole nother level ...

4. It was very powerful, and difficult to watch.
I'm in the medical field and I have to say I've never seen anything like that - and it's 100 times worse in real life than what we're seeing on film. Not only the horrific injuries and deaths that NEVER STOP - but the psychological wounds that are being inflicted on our young soldiers and the medical personnel. I honestly don't know if I could handle working in that environment.

Everyone should watch no matter how difficult to take. It's real, it's war, and it's a horrible, horrible waste of life.

5. Not just him
but every puke who cheered us into this war: O'Reilley, Hannity, Rush, Rummy, Condi, Deadeye Dick, Lynne Cheney, Pickles, Fat Tony Scalia and the list could go on and on...
They don't have the guts to watch and see what the consequences are when you "play war" with real human beings. They just bitch about showing the reality of the horror of their war and say it's all political.
:grr:

6. 15x as many Iraqis as US troops died of war wounds so far this month
744 "Iraqi Security Forces and Civilian Deaths" to 50 so far in May http://icasualties.org/oif/

I certainly don't begrudge our troops the very best care available, but I wonder what efforts exist to treat those native to the country that we're occupying.
