Missouri Law Could Cut Off Minority, Senior Votes
I did a search on all keywords and didn't find anything about this so if it's a dupe, please know that I tried.

In an eleventh-hour move, the Republican-dominated Missouri legislature passed one of the nation’s most restrictive voting bills. The new law will require all voters to show a government-issued photo ID card before they can cast a ballot, a move election officials say could disenfranchise as many as 190,000 voters, mainly people of color, seniors and people with disabilities

In an additional effort by Missouri Republicans to restrict the voting process, the bill also eliminates a voter’s option to vote a straight party ticket.

2. Same thing here in NM
where traditional folks out on the rez don't have any sort of ID, and some of the old ones don't even have birth certificates.

This is an evil bill by evil people.

3. Since these laws have been passed I think we need to work
as advocates with these groups of people to see that they DO have the ID cards they need in November. Go to where they are and offer to help them get the paperwork done. Do it now so that they are ready in November.
