Phone Conversation with Veterans Benefit Commission Executive Director |
|
Last week I called the Executive Director of the Veterans Benefit Commission to voice my opinion on the meeting they were having last Thursday. Today he called me back to tell me the decision of the commission. He said that the commission decided to gather facts on thing that were happening to veterans in regards to their benefits. He said the commission never intended to offset veterans benefits in any way. I asked him if that meant that veterans benefits would not be cut and he said yes that veterans benefits would not be cut. He also said that the commission would be looking into the fact that some veterans seem to not be signing up for benefits and some that veterans do sign up, but do not get veterans benefits. Finally, he told me that I could follow the process of the commission on their website. So I guess if anyone wants to know more about the decision of the commission you can go to their website. I do not have a link to the commission's website.
