It looks like Himmler, er, Hayden will be the new CIA director. Every day comes more evidence that at least 70% of us have no say in the way America is run. Is there any point in staying in the US?

1. Yes, to kick up a shit storm

2. Altho it may seem like a long time in the future, you will

want to be able to say to your children and grand-children that, when the crisis of the Republic occurred, you did everything in your power to rescue the Republic. (At least I want to be able to say that.)

and my gut feeling is to get her as far away from Limbaughland as possible.

4. I understand (I think). It's one thing to be concerned for your

children's and grandchildren's safety, another entirely whether you yourself continue to resist.

My wife is Canadian and I've always secretly thought that I have an "escape hatch" should it become intolerable. Then I witness the daily struggles of the Latinos in Los Angeles just to get by and I think what a spoiled attitude mine is.
