Watching Coruic interview Gore on Countdown I couldn't help but wonder
Why or earth would any sane person consider her for an anchor job? She asks stupid questions and does even stupider voice overs. Maybe I just hate the incompetence of the MSM. I just can't take this shit anymore. She wasted so much time trying to portray Gore as a rock star, that someone who didn't know what message he was tying to convey sure would'nt know after she got done.

2. Cancel that cable subscription, take down the TV antenna
Buy a DVD player, get a Netflix subscription, and check out the movies being made outside the U.S.

9. Not true, you can get them off of iTunes
I gave up TV several years ago and am very happy I did. I still get to watch both Lost and Battlestar Galactica, the only shows I like, by downloading them off of iTunes. $1.99 per episode is worth it in my book. No commercials and you have it whenever you want. They also have both Colbert and The Daily Show.

10. How about Olbermann?
Do they have "Countdown" too? That would be worth including. I'm addicted by now.

11. I'm afraid not
There are other TV show download sites out there that might but they don't list what shows they have unless you join them, which I find suspicious.

12. Actually, iTunes DOES have Olbermann for downloading.
I guess it's worth considering!

Have my antenna though to get the local weather and news although even that is poor.

7. where's Jane Pauley?
something real dreary must be ongoing in the pigmedia world if gorgeous Jane Pauley just disappears (around Clinton impeachment time, if not earlier?)...all the 'people' magazines etc discussing all this stuff about all these famous people, yet in the case of a true media professional like Jane, they suddenly all aw shucks tongue-tied like jethro bodine asking miss hathaway for advice on some pretty debutante!

8. Speaking of Couric, has she gotten back to us yet?
http://thinkprogress.org/2006/01/26/couric-caught-on-tape/

Katie: Hey, wait a second. Democrats took-Democrats took money from Abramoff too, Mr. Dean.

Howard: That is absolutely false. That did not happen. Not one dime of money from Jack Abramoff went to any Democrat at any time.

Katie: According to the CRP, Abramoff and his associates gave 3 million dollars to republicans and 1.5 million to democrats...

Howard: Not-one-dime.

Katie: We'll obviously have to look into that and clarify that to our viewers at a later date...

That was way back last January...so where's the update?

Oh, wait...here it is: Katie then cited a Center for Responsive Politics study as her evidence, but a look at CRP’s website (here and here) show that Democrats accepted no money from Abramoff.

Wow, what a buzzkill from the Bimba of CBS!
