Damn good thing the Indians didn't designate an official language
That would have been so unpatriotic of them and "conservatives" would have to contend with another group to hate.

Being partially Native American and married to a Canadian, I find the whole "Official Language" thing somewhat disingenuous.

4. Its extremely sad and pathetic
that the only way republicans can succeed in elections is to designate groups for the base to hate. That is the only reason immigration is in the news today. "Conservative" leaders have figured out that hating homosexuals won't be enough in 2006.

7. It's amazing how Americans in the majority do not speak a second-language.
The rest of the world is often multi-language capable.

Commerce is enhanced by exchange facilitated with the understanding of other languages.

Culture understanding is facilitated via ability in other languages.

We're pretty bankrupt in America regarding our International educations.

But, that helps this sort of Administration press an xenophobic and narrow provincial attitudes and agendas.
