Abu Ghraib: The official republican stance on it? Looks like Bush**
shot some holes in it after he flip-flopped. Didn't he/they used to claim that it was just a "fraternity prank-like" episode. Or that it was justified because the Geneva Conventions were "quaint"? His flip-flop in the "speech" with Blair seemed to imply that it was a mistake rather than a justified action as they earlier claimed.

1. Ah, but he's a Man Who Sitcks To his Ideas...right? Isn't that how
they sold him in 2004?

4. "People like him because he never changes his stance", so says Rove.
Now that he changes his mind, people won't like him anymore?

2. I don't think Bush ever made those kinds of comments
Rush Limbaugh was the one with the prank comment.

Bush all along, as best as I can recall, was happy to make it sound like just the random acts of a few low-ranking bad apples.

Hey, the liberal light is always on at the Vast Left-Wing Conspiracy. Please stop by and say "hi!"

3. Funny that; I noticed he never actually took any responsibility for
Abu Ghraib, though as CiC he should be responsible.
