so, the repubs awash in scandal, polls abysmal, and the dem strategy
is to roll over like a submissive poodle?

help me with this: would there EVER be a better time to attack politically than now?

what are they waiting for? or, perhaps more accurately, WHAT does Hayden have in their file that makes them so pliable?

I hate this countries politics, sometimes, it makes no sense.

Avoid the Polish Firing Squad, Don't Get Between a Suicide and His Gun Strategy, Might as Well Not Show Up Until After the Election Is Over Strategy.

Not real inspirational, is it? That's What Frum and Carville have been telling them for three election cycles. Did it work then?

in their campaign.

4. Maybe waiting to haul out the trash
closer to November? If Dems start shouting now, the Repug spin machine has plenty of time for swift-boating. Just a guess.

5. One wonders why someone who hates Democrats so
would continue to clog a Democratic forum.

6. Oh, the poster hates Democrats?
So we're supposed to show our love for Democrats by meekly following along with all things Republican even though the public disagrees with Bush by a huge margin? Oh, yes, now I recall, that's the strategy of your beloved Joementum Lieberman. :eyes:

12. They should be shouting HELL NO from the rooftops
And instead they vote FOR the guy who was deeply involved in illegal governmental activity. And: as long as he is in uniform, his boss is Rumsfield. CIA is under Rumsfield. What the hell are democrats doing?

History will not look kindly upon Bush and his lying co-horts who are on the verge of destroying our republic beyond repair. But the democrats also things to answer to: why didn't they fight? Now, I know some will say that they are fighting, but the media is not covering it, and they are helpless as the republicans are in control of everything. But, the dems are in control of their votes. They could have done something towards keeping Hayden from continuing his thwarting of the constitution. Instead they vote yea. WTF?
