Please forgive my ignorance here but the raid on Jefferson's offices are being justified how? All I have heard from the Executive Branch, and their apologists, are that they need to go after corruption.
Wait a minute. Where are the raids on those connected Abramoff then? Why wasn't Cunningham's office raided? Why isn't Delay's office raided?
I am just trying to go with their excuses and follow them out to their 'logical' conclusions. What am I missing here?

over the heads of any Congressman that might think his name may be somewhere in those files? It is like blackmail. Bribery? They are using the files to get the type of behavior they wish from certain Congressman. And they hope to tie more Democrats to Jefferson so they can legitimately say that "both Parties do it"..
