Al Gore just ripped bush* big time |
|
On Teri Gross's NPR show. He called him an incurious President. He said after bush read the memo Bin Laden determined to attack in the US, he asked not one question. On global warming, bush* quietly takes the word of special interest with out asking one single question. He thinks if Democrats had been in power, they would have prevented bush* from doing so much damage to the US and the world. He was amazingly calm and clear. Just imagine a President who can express himself.

tell them to bring it on?
Boy did you ever hit it right with this. I long for a president who can talk and express himself. Dubya is not up to the task, to say the least. Half the time he sounds like he's on hog tranquilizer.
Gore is all over the place these days. I can't wait to see that film.

14. Hi, zidzi. I'd love to claim that phrase, but it ain't mine. I lifted it |
|
hook, line and sinker from Andrew Holleran's novel, DANCER FROM THE DANCE. A very worldly personality is showing a much less worldly one an all-night, high-risk dance venue, and tells him, (paraphrased), "Half the people here are on hog tranquilizer."
I ripped it off because I don't know how else to explain how hard it is to listen to Dubya's tortured speech. If you're the president it seems to me you ought to SOUND like you're the president. But if he was shooting up hog tranquilizer before he goes before a microphone, I could at least understand why he sounds the way he does.
Otherwise, I'm left to conclude that he's dumber than a bag of hammers.

16. LOL! That photo of Dubya trimmin' brush down on the ranch will |

probably stick with me forever -- unfortunately!
Lots of things to object to about Junior, but if it had to come down to two, I'd list that he cheated to win and wasn't qualified to start with.

6. Gore should say that he would have read the Hart Rudman Report on Global |

Edited on Tue May-30-06 04:07 PM by blm
Terror that very day it was handed to him on Jan 30, 2001, and he would have worked to implement its urgent proposals for Homeland Security.
THAT would have made a 9-11 event most unlikely.
