Bush and the Republicans have destroyed our nation and our democracy
Our nation will never be the same. Politically, economically, and militarily, this President and his Party have dragged our nation down. With their false ideology and their belief that America can recover from whatever damage that might be heaped upon her. But, America is more fragile than they ever thought. Personally, I can never forgive them their arrogance and ignorance. They raped America.

1. Nothing but greed -
Their guiding philosophy - "The end justifies the means". The 'end' being the accumulation of power and money no matter what gets destroyed in the process. As long as they get what they want, all good. I want them to rot in prison for their lies and deceit.

2. A rapist is exactly what they are - Bush and the Republicans have
f*cked Americans over, with little regard for anyone but themselves. No condom, no thank you, no kiss after the deed.

The hypocrisy is numbing. How Republicans could go after Bill Clinton for a sexual indiscretion with an aide, and allow Dubya to rape the Constitution of the United States is treasonous.

What is happening in America today is a disgrace and a shame.

3. Bush has failed at everything he tried
from serving in the Texas National Guard, to his business ventures. When those failures happened, Poppy's rich buddies bailed the twit out, and he could just walk away to screw something else up. This time, though, his failure has been so great that Poppy and his friends can't fix it. This time, his failures have caused countless deaths, hideous injuries, shattered lives and broken dreams numbering in the hundreds of thousands.

I am talking about his failures in foreign policy, with two unsuccessful wars, and a third looming, and his failures in domestic policy, bankrupting our country. Americans have lost liberty, jobs, homes, and entire cities, like New Orleans abandoned.. I can think of no other president who would have allowed things to get this out of control.

Bush couldn't do the job alone, though, he has been aided and abetted by a corrupt Republican Congress, a pathetically weak Democratic opposition party, and a sycophantic, fawning press. In terms of social contract, that's been pretty much eliminated. What corrupt politicians and greedy CEOs haven't destroyed, the Religious Right has happily done by insisting on eliminated the wall of separation between church and state. They have waged war against women, gays, and anybody else they don't approve of.

The only way out of this mess is to get Bush, Cheney, and the entire cabal of neocons impeached, voted out of office, and put in prison. I feel sorry for so many people who have suffered so much due to this murderous, ignorant, arrogant piece of filth. We can't begin to rebuild out country until he and his cronies are out of office. Of course, that brings up the subject of voting, which brings up Diebold, and the rest of the Republican voting machine companies.

We have a huge challenge ahead of us, and I pray that we will be able to join together enough to at least tackle this mess. I pity our children and grandchildren.
