Condaleeza Rice sets us up with the straw man again.
Just overheard on CNN.

"elections that they said couldn't take place and a constitution they said wouldn't be written"...

Who are the THEY?! I don't recall anyone on the left saying that.

Condaleeza must be hearing voices in her head.

2. La-de-dah, elections and a constitution
I never said it couldn't be done; I said that elections and a constitution do not necessarily create a functioning, legitimate government. So, how right was I on that one, Ms. Rice? Or are you satisfied with the soft bigotry of such low expectations?

3. Rewriting history again!
It was the American government that was against elections! Only because of massive non-violent protest by Iraqi civillians and criticism from around the world did the US finally agree to elections - and then they tried to claim it as their own idea. Now they are trying to say that it was not only their idea but they were being criticised for it? BULLSHIT!

5. yeah, it's nauseating
No reasonable person would say they couldn't write something on a piece of paper and call it a Constitution or that they couldn't pretend to have a functioning government.

6. If I had a dollar for every time the MSM challenged the straw man
I'd be living on the streets and feasting on half-eaten Whoppers and rancid fries.
