What if Busy cheats and steals the White House?
What are our guys willing to do to kick him out? Bush has the voting machines. Will anyone demand the disqualification of contrived results and take office anyone if it appears our guy would have won but for the rigging? For those of us who know what Bush is capable of, that's what it will probably come to. Has anyone received any feedback from any of the candidates on this issue? I know Dennis is fighting against the black box voting but I don't know what even he would do if it is used to rig the election.

1. I would hope there would be rioting, looting
and complete social disorder in the streets if it is proven he stole another election.

That's what should have happened in 2000.

4. Embattle the Whitehouse with peaceful protest.
Encircle it with millions of people in a massive sit in.

13. Yes, but that would be 'sealed off' as the ultimate '1st Amendment Zone'.
That is what they would expect. We would need to do a whole lot more, in that case.

10. The trouble is the recount proved Gore won and no one cared.
Will it really happen differently this time? I hope that people would react differently but I don't trust the people not to be lazy.

3. It isn't preposterous.
A stolen White House? Fighting back would be preposterous? NOT doing so would be not only be preposterous, but treasonous.

7. THAT will make a big mess
That and it depends on who is running. I'm willing to bet that if Clark is the nominee he WILL call Bush out on the results and demand that he step down to the will of the people.

8. * can't steal it again
It won't fly twice, my guess is Osama will be brought out in September and do us in, I have a hunch that like Saddam he's already in custody and the * team is holding him till election time.

Things are too quiet and things are too blatantly wrong for * not to be worried about November.

And then there were none!

9. True, I've even heard that the media call the capture/death of
Osama "the October Surprise" and even tie it in with the Dem's convention and the new 911 commission report date deadline. Just happens to be July 26, the first day of the Dem's convention. No surprise here. Yet, Dems like Kerry and Clark et al could promote that it was our solders who got him and not Bush. Give all the credit to the solders, and attack Bush for failing to nab him sooner. After all, he should have been caught within a year after 911.

12. REVOLUTION.
Bush would just bring out the Baker-Botts law firm and dispute any s-election recount, as he did in the 2000 coup.

After spending four year of my life fighting the Idiot Usurping Lying Dictatorial regime, only REVOLUTION would be acceptable.

For those who think that's 'drastic', consider this: If Bush actually steals it again, it means he was down in the polls and lacked public support. Hence, he would need to act quickly, a la 9-11. The issue of him 'doing well on national security' would be a moot point - as he would have already stolen the election, so public opinion would not matter.

Hello Patriot Act II, and then some, after Bush's next attack.
