The Human Rights Campaign Should Be Ashamed Of Itself
Ned Lamont support marriage equality for gay and lesbian Americans.

Joe Lieberman does not. He uses Republican language: "Marriage is between a man and a woman."

Yet, the HRC has endorsed Lieberman in the primary campaign in CT.

The Human Rights Campaign has become just another corrupt Washington corporate lobbying group that routinely sells out the constituency it purports to serve.

Their endorsement of Lieberman betrays every gay couple nationwide and every gay kid who wants to grow up, get married and have his/her family be a respected, equal part of American society.

Until HRC wakes up and changes its tune, gay men and women everywhere, and the friends and family who support them, should respond by giving as much to HRC as HRC has given them.

Nothing.

3. Lieberman was assumed to win
After tonight's debate, I hope HRC will change its mind. However, if HRC strictly stood on principle, Lamont would have gotten the support based on his positions regardless if Lamont lost or won.

4. I Like that "hidden republican campaign."
I am so sickened by the loss of NY and by the HRC. What have they done except hand out car stickers? They are too quiet and too cowardly. The DLC of the gay world. No wonder why they'll sell us out to Lieberman.

5. "Marriage is between a man and a woman"?
Or, in Joe's case, between a lizard and a woman.

6. they have supported pro-gay republicans before, too.
I haven't been a huge fan of theirs for a long time although I suppose our movement needs all the help it can get so i should cut them slack and not be a "purist". but still, I share your annoyance on this issue in regards to Lieberman.
