A reminder about fundies...
and just how much they want to influence the political arena. These people are not public intellectuals.

3. Wonderful compilation -- I'm bookmarking
It's always more effective to quote them directly and prove how stupid they can be than for us to just call them stupid! I'm a Christian, and I can't stand this crap!

On a side note: My son and I really love these dinosaur popsicles we get from a vendor down at the beach. Does that make us "beast suckers?" I need to check with Neal Horsley.

4. Honestly, how can a civilized human being take any of these
people seriously? Some of it is just comical

This just made me laugh so hard, yet there probably are people who believe it.

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians."
Pat Robertson, fundraising letter, 1992"

13. Your profile doesn't say where you're from, but if you can ask
that I can safely bet you're not in the Bible Belt.

I hear stuff like this on a regular basis, and not from sorry assed politicos trying to get attention, but from very ordinary people.

Remember, people once laughed at Hitler.

5. mr. reed...
"It's like guerrilla warfare. If you reveal your location, all it does is allow your opponent to improve his artillery bearings. It's better to move quietly, with stealth, under cover of night. You've got two choices: You can wear cammies and shimmy along on your belly, or you can put on a red coat and stand up for everyone to see. It comes down to whether you want to be the British army in the Revolutionary War or the Viet Cong. History tells us which tactic was more effective."
-- Ralph Reed, Los Angeles Times, March 22, 1992, admitting that he wants to deceive us regarding his true aims

know absolutely nothing about Jesus and his grace.

Edited: By the way, what are heterosexual couples doing during oral sex?

9. So many morons.
I want to force them to actually read the teachings of Jesus rather than misuse his name like this.

10. Why don't they just live like the Amish and leave the rest of us alone?
If they believe that Jesus said, "Be in the world and not of it" and "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and unto God that which is God's," then why don't they go someplace and set up a new society?

If this world is so damned sinful, why try to rehabilitate it? Why put lipstick on a pig?

12. why?
Because they see it as their divine mission. It's like they get little gold stars on their angelic robes for every conversion. Or maybe they just need a better hobby as they seem to have way too much free time.
