3. yes..that one..and don't wake me when it is over....
I can't bare it....he is a part of it...and will now use the issue to help himself...after he would do nothing to help the people! He is using our democracy for him...himself...it is ours...and he was not there...John Kerry is the fecking prez elect...and once again..we don't get him. Jim told me he does not believe in election fraud. He has said this to others in Fla too...even someone who works close on this...

11. I strongly support Jim Davis.
I don't always agree with him, but he has an excellent record on the environment (the Sierra Club just endorsed him today), gay rights, and reproductive rights.

He also signed on as a co-sponsor of Rush Holt's bill (which requires a voter verified paper record of every vote, requiring mandatory random hand counted audits to verify the accuracy of electronic tallies, and prohibiting the use of secret software and wireless communication devices in voting machines).

He's not as good on labor issues as Smith, but he's better on everything else (well, he's not as good a speaker, either, but he's not bad). He listens to consituents and cares about people.

Calling him a "traitor" is ridiculous.

12. He does not have the great record with womens issues...
check out the partial birth abortion..he voted on that without the exception for the life and health of the mother! Smith does not agree with that. The ERA will not support Smith either....and his drilling muses have gotten him Sierra..great...as they drill, drill and now more drilling. His bankruptcy bill is a real killer...but the lenders have bankrolled him! He is a sell out. He has the second worst record in congress...why would you want him running the state?! And, out of 435 memebers of congress he is number 4 for the most missed votes. He did appear to vote the reps a raise after no minimun wage increase. But a raise for him yes indeed he showed up to vote. And he voted again to not have to appear in a TV debate. He keeps ducking them....he's a weenie! Really he is. And. his breath will kill you if you get too close. ewww.

:eyes:

Davis' record on reproductive rights is much better than it used to be, because he listens to constituents. He did, indeed, vote to ban late term abortions in 2003, but has since voted with the pro-choice position.

According to vote-smart:

2005 Representative Davis supported the interests of the NARAL Pro-Choice America 90 percent in 2005.

2004 Representative Davis supported the interests of the NARAL Pro-Choice America 100 percent in 2004.

Of course, he also supports stem cell research and no one fought harder on Michael Shiavo's side when he was trying to keep the government out of his and Terri's private life.

I don't understand what you are taking about in regard to drilling and the minimum wage. If you are trying to claim that Davis supports drilling or opposes increasing the minimum wage you are sadly misinformed.

I won't attack Rod Smith, but to consider him the more liberal candidate in the race is almost as laughable as calling Jim Davis a "traitor".
