So What Was The Friday Dump?
Did I miss anything besides Bush ignoring North Korea and Ken Lay conveniently dropping dead?

1. I think it was the foiled attack on the NY tunnel.
I also believe this is the replacement to the raised color levels we saw with Ridge. As it turns out, they were used to manipulate public fear, and I really believe this BS with the NY tunnel and te supposed foiled threat in Fl last week is the same damn thing!

Secret Service reveals more Abramoff visits

By PETE YOST, Associated Press Writer Fri Jul 7, 10:42 PM ET

WASHINGTON - The
Secret Service on Friday revealed four more visits to the White House in 2001 by disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, including one to see a domestic policy aide to Vice President
Dick Cheney.

The newly released records of Abramoff's access to the White House bring the total number of his known visits to seven.

One Abramoff White House visit, according to Secret Service logs, was on April 20, 2001, to see Cesar Conda, at the time Cheney's assistant for domestic policy.

Five days after the Conda meeting, one of Abramoff's former lobbying colleagues, Patrick Pizzella, was nominated by the president as assistant secretary of labor. The Secret Service logs do not state why Abramoff met with Conda.

3. Thanks, I knew that bogus 'Hudson River flowing uphill terrorist' attack
was cover for something. I thought it was just pre-arranged cover for his usual disastrous press conference.

4. None of this matters.....
these guys could be caught with two eight year old boys wearing tutus and ball gags and.... suddenly fox news would declare pedophilia a valid part of the war on terror.

5. Okay
I'll just give up, then, since none of it matters.

8. That's really insulting
Instead of defending your opinion, you call me a name.

That's all you've got?

9. Sorry, but this news has to get out (and be EXPLAINED) to those who...
need to hear it.
.... I'm just saying for any of this to matter, we're going to have to prove it to their supporters that what gets "dumped" on friday still matters on monday.

You and I (as enlightened as we are) may have developed "object permanence" but the general public has not. With them it's "out of sight, out of mind".

If that sounds snobby..... it is.
.... And that is from a old blue hag in a red state where the political peasantry votes time and time again to deny themselves national health and excellent schools (I'm a teacher.... AP US History and Geography) in order to keep two guys from picking out china together.... Remember the 700 club and pat robertson started here in Va.

BTW..... I'm not a Hamiltonian either..... I believed in a fully educated voting populace.

10. What's that German word..... there is no English for it?
That feeling of satisfaction that one gets at another's set back?

That's still fun.
