4. Thanks, Maxine! You never disappoint!
As for Boxer - the perfect illustration of what the party machine does to good people.
I loathe Joementum for what he's doing to good people like her (on top for his other bigger crimes)

5. my sentiments exactly -- she just does not know how to disappoint

perhaps that's what some people mean when they say "far left"-- an inability to properly betray principles

6. not one Senator
kudos to Maxine Waters ... isn't it interesting that not a single Senator will stand up for the anti-war candidate in the race ...

they see the Senate as a fraternity where sticking with your colleagues in the "Senate aristocracy" is more important than backing a candidate who better represents the views of the party ...

8. Let's not forget. . .
Let's not forget that Maxine Waters is one of only two Democrats to be named on Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington's list of the thirteen most corrupt members of Congress, joining such notables as Bob Ney, Conrad Burns, and Rick Santorum.

If Lamont really wants to gain more traction in this race, he'd do well by not having one of the few Democrats that can be legitimately connected to the culture of corruption on the stump for him.

12. Oh, no
I thought she had better sense than that! Maybe somebody should have mounted a primary challenge against her last month, she seems to have lost it.
