Mike Malloy is blasting John Kerry.
Is anybody listening to him? He is warning Kerry to get even tough on Bush and his supposed military record. I take it Mike has the same problem I do about Senator Kerry.

1. Kerry's response has been smart
him saying "i don't have the facts, but the Prez and the military should clear things up" is a great answer.

it's him handing the ball back to the press.

and, as we can all see, the press are running with it.

Kerry has played his hand perfectly.

3. I agree
The top tier guys (the candidates) should not attack Bush on the AWOL issue, let the Press and the 2nd tier people (like the DNC Chair) do it. As well us DU'ers!

4. Kerry's not ready for primetime if there's no spittle on his lip when he
makes his statement. Apparently we're spineless unless we put up a loose cannon as bad as Bush for our nominee.

5. Better toughen up, John.
Mike Malloy is warning Kerry. You know damn well that Karl Rove is going to spin the hell out of Kerry and if Kerry does not get tough and start getting more brazen towards Bush, then the Democrats will lose again. The election may well just go to Bush. Is that what some Democrats really, really want?

6. Kerry has survived far worse than Rove
Malloy might want to take that much into consideration.

FI I were playing poker, I wouldn't show my hand until everyone else's cards are out on the table.

What good does it do for Kerry to unload now? Isn't that how they get us every single time?

17. Didn't Mike Malloy say he backed Dean? What kind of credibility
does he have making decisions about how our candidate can win support. Now is not the time to heat up the fight with Bush to boiling. It has to simmer for months, while the press gets board in the spring. They will have nothing better to do then to look into Bush. Kerry has to be the whisperer in their ears. His supporters have to be the shouters.

34. Your right. Bush couldn't help himself. Bush has the IQ of a toddler
and Kerry was just giving a gun to a 2-year-old. This meme is dangerous and misunderestimates Bush. Kerry had a right to expect Bush to keep a promise. Bush had a responsibility to keep those promises. Bush is a liar and untrustworthy is how you beat a republican.

8. HAHAH....Kerry has endured over Colson, Segretti, Atwater and Rove
and you think he can't handle what's to come?????

I swear, some of you really have NO idea what Kerry has been through over the last 35 years.

The breathless hysteria is getting amusing.

19. Please explain what
He has been through over the last 25 years. I know he brought out about the BCCI but haven't heard what became of it. Ask most American's they know nothing about it. Why isn't he speaking out now about all that he has uncovered?

9. BAD IDEA

The balls been in the media's court for 4 years. They've been dribbling ever since. Then they got bitchy when Michael Moore had the audacity to call Bush a deserter.

Nope, the only way the media will address the issue is if people get into Bush's face. They have to force him to respond.

The Democrats have to frame the issue and keep hammering it home.

BUSH REFUSED TO TAKE A PHYSICAL AND WAS SUSPENDED FROM FLIGHT. That's a fact.

BUSH WAS TRANSFERRED TO ALABAMA. THERE IS NO RECORD OF HIS DOING DUTY THERE. That's a fact.

BUSH WAS REPRIMANDED AND ORDERED TO DO "MAKE UP" TIME. That's a fact.

BUSH WAS RELEASED EARLY FROM HIS GUARD TRAINING. That's a fact.

BUSH RECEIVED PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT FOR ACCESS TO GUARD ENLISTMENT. That's a fact.

BUSH RECEIVE THE LOWEST POSSIBLE SCORE ON A PILOT APTITUDE EXAM. That's a fact.

BUSH WAS GIVEN FLIGHT TRAINING OVER HIGHER QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS. That's a fact.

BUSH WAS GIVEN A COMMISSION THAT HE DID NOT DESERVE. That's a fact.

THE INDIVIDUAL WHO GOT BUSH INTO THE TEXAS GUARD IS NOW COMMANDER OF THE NATIONAL AIR FORCE RESERVE. That's a fact.

THE SAME INDIVIDUAL FAILED TO SCRAMBLE JETS ON 9/11 IN RESPONSE TO 4 JETS INCOMMUNICADO AND WAY OUT OF THEIR FLIGHT PLAN. That's a fact.

You see, Bush being a shitty soldier is related to his being a shitty commander in chief. The man who helped him along in the guard fucked up on 9/11. Together the two allowed the events of 9/11 through neglect or worse!!!!!!

11. well, the press IS running with it NOW,
and NOW is when Kerry is being asked about it, and by deflecting the issue to the press and other Dem subordinate types, Kerry is making the right move.

to use a term that seems to irk non-Kerry supporters, it's very _presidential_ of him.

Kerry has played General Clark's hand perfectly. Good thing he doesn't have to pay royalties, else everybody else's campaigns would be swimming.

7. Ican't listen to him anymore. He was my all time favorite
until he began the Dean apologist hour. In one hand he holds his beloved dream of a Dean Kucinich ticket. With the other he crushes Kerry and Edwards with shallow rhetoric delivered with his trademark hysterical ranting. It is highly entertaining when he is ripping Bush to shreds but it is disgusting to hear him give the Democrats he disagrees with the back of his mud-filled hand.

Have I told you yet how much I hate his show these days?

14. Mike Malloy is a scrapper. A street fighter!
It is exactly what those of us on the left or left of center needs to take the righties to task. I would rather fight back than sit around singing "Koom-bye-ah" while the Republicans kick at our heads. Wake up, Democrats! Start getting mad and fight back for Creator's sake!

18. How Long Can He Say "I Don't Have All the Facts"...
before someone asks him why the hell he isn't looking into it? I mean, it may have been a good response the first day, but after TM made it an issue with George Stephanopolus I don't think the "I don't have all the facts" line is going to work much longer.

20. Don't see Mike Malloy getting delegates & rising in polls
Kerryt's doing a great job letting the press provide the heat, and Bush roast in his own juices.

There will be plenty of time to show Bush sucking his thumb in front of a Dixie flag while a real patriot was off fighting for his country.

28. Just sound advice
Anyone, the candidate you prefer or the one he prefers or the one I prefer, had better be prepared for a real fight and to attack the the BFEE without mercy. I do think, however, that brains and brawn are both needed, and I think Mike was missing the fact that leaving the AWOL issue unanswered means that it is still "out there." Clark did the same thing a few weeks ago and see what has happened since then!
