Their "Dear Leader"

I've had it with them. I don't care about being divisive or playing anywhere near "nice" anymore they have had too much of the benefit of the doubt from me for too long. From now on when anyone talks to me about Bush I am referring to him as the "Dear Leader" if they don't get it then let their ignorance make the joke just that much sweeter.

The "Dear Leader" bit is straight out of "1984" or some futuristic movie plot about totalitarian governments and it fits, sadly.

They operate on the margin that is the dark world that you don't even consider when passing over it to get to the benefit of the doubt threshold. That is where Rove and Dick and Rummy live. That is what they count on, while you are dealing in a world of considering what is something close to normal their machinery is in high gear turning it all around on you. I swear if one of them masterbated in public the talking point would be "Why aren't YOU masterbating in public? Are you scared? Don't you know everything changed since 9/11?" and off all the amplified voices would go about how bold they are and how much of a shrinking violet the opposition is...and yes anyone but them is now considered "the opposition".

They will stop at nothing and every petty little thing that you are told you shouldn't politicize well they politicize it. You think that all the RW radio love for "24" was an accident? No the producers are rightwingers and the whole operation is in place for the promotion of their own kind.

Somewhere in a rant like this I would normally say something about how if they have bumperstickers saying "MY President is Charlton Heston" then I can too well to HELL with that I don't need them to set the standard they have been for the last 30 years and only now am I realizing all the complete BS that I bought throughout the years was planned and implemented by THEM. It was all about politics the whole damned time.

Their "Dear Leader".

1. post script
after rereading that I am letting it stand without edit. I could have expanded it and I could have been a little less specific or less oriented to current events but it is fine as it is.

2. Fearless Leader
been calling him that for years.

What kind of President is afraid to meet the American People face-to-face without an armed escort. Speaks much for how low this presidency has gone. There was a time when people could knock on the door of the White House and ask to see the President.

What a fucked-up country this has become.
