Santorum's Debut Ad Attacks "Liberals Like Ted Kennedy." Wrong Opponent?
Edited on Tue Jul-11-06 11:38 AM by JABBS
Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA), trailing badly in the polls, has apparently entered the "Hail Mary" portion of his campaign for re-election.

In his first television advertisement, Santorum calls himself a staunch opponent of "liberals like Ted Kennedy." The fact that he's running against a pro-life candidate who supported Supreme Court nominees John Roberts and Samuel Alito? Ech. Why let facts get in the way of a good catch-phrase?

<snip>

But it's election season, and Santorum knows that truth has to take a back seat to anger, er, passion. The ad offers red meat to Pennsylvania's conservative base, who would never want a "liberal like Ted Kennedy" representing them.

5. You are missing the point here
Ricky is smart, see, he's about as much a resident of Massachusetts as he is of Pennsylvania, so without even moving from his family's real home in Virginia, he's setting himself up to run against Ted Kennedy, the real Anti-Christ and Ricky will strike down Evil Liberalism in the heart of its' own Empire.....HAHAHAHHAHHAHAAAAA!!!!!

I need to take my meds now.
