You can view the ad (dial-up warning)from this link if you care to
http://www.scottpruitt.com/

I've called the office 3 times & sent at least 5 emails asking just what the "christian values" he wants to "protect". So far not ONE SINGLE REPLY to any emails...the moran who answers the phone refuses to be specific, will only say Pruitt is a "deacon in his church" as if that's some kind of recommendation. I told the asshole the BTK murderer in Wichita was a deacon too - he didn't have much to say about that. :puke: :grr:

* and that's just on one single Tulsa station.

1. In OKC we've got Mick Cornett for Senate running every
night at 10 pm on a local "family" station--a 30-minute infomercial narrated by a well-known local conversative talk show host. I can't get past the five-minute mark, with people crediting him with the MAPS project and him touting his "Christian values."

Aak.

2. I can't remember ever seeing such a big "race" for Lt. Gov.
There are at least 2 others with multi-ads on teevee. Why all the sudden interest in a low-paying largely symbolic position??? I don't get it.
:wtf:

4. Probably because it's a little easier to run for Lt Gov and get a foot
in the door than it is to run for a House seat, for example. If you can get your name out there enough, you can get elected pretty much on name recognition and not really on any issues.

And what's the deal with all these doctors suddenly running for office? Do they think they can make more money in public service than in medicine? Really strange.

I'm very interested to see who's left standing after the primaries. I think we'll see some big names go down in flames.

I'm lucky in that I don't watch much television and don't have cable, and when I do have it on, it's on a non-network station that so far isn't showing any other "ads" other than Mick's. I can't imagine how much money it's costing him to run those every night. However, knowing the station he's running them on, he probably got a pretty good deal--they tend to run the same car ads over and over and over again until I'm ready to throw something at the television. I call it the "fellow believer" discount.

3. Is hanging a flag from a tree against the flag code?
I just noticed that in the ad.
