1. As a fairly long term contributor to the online Zogby
polls, I have become increasingly suspicious of both their motives and numbers.
The most recent jiggle of my compass regarding their authority and righteousness comes from a recent e-mail blast from them on their accuracy in predicting the Mexican presidential elections.

They brag about their forecast of a razor thin victory for the right-wing authoritarian bigots. If this forecast were actually derived from asking questions of real people, given the obvious massive fraud evident in the managing of that election, I'll eat my hat!

I will continue to participate in the polls, but I no longer have any real sense of their accuracy or usefulness as a predictive tool.

2. Me too

I took it last night, I thought the questions about speaking French were a bit odd. Also the one about moving to another country...strange.

cheers

3. The question about emigrating has been there before
so I won't be surprised when I see it again.

I'm surprised I'm still being polled. I'm WAY outside their usual preference for the 18-49 cohort, the big spender segment of society.

The question about French is a little odd. I guess they're just trying to find out who's bilingual/multilingual one language at a time. I seem to remember a question like that about Spanish a loooooong time ago.

5. I thought the French questions were odd...
as I'm vaguely considering moving to Canada, I thought there might be a connection...not that I intend to go to Quebec, but...it didn't ask WHERE in Canada.
