So the Palestinians elect a government. This government was chosen democratically. This government has condoned the capture and retention of an Iraeli soldier. The Israelis are pissed. They bomb Gaza. They bomb Lebanon. No doubt there will be retaliation.

The area is currently aflame. The match has been thrown on the gasoline.

Gas fires have a way of spreading.

Who's next? Syria?

Egypt?

Iran?

Saudi Arabia?

Are we seeing a nascent Middle East conflagration?

Will the conflagration spread?

Will we be involved?

Will other non-Middle East nations get involved at the request of their clients in the region?

Will there finally be what KindaSleazy predicted ... a mushroom cloud?

Will this current activity be later defined as the start of WWIII?

Or will that 'honor' go to our initial invasion of Iraq?
