Sen Inhofe (R-OK) today on Tulsa RW talk show: Clinton gave China secrets
China is opposing US; China has power. It is all the fault of Clinton.

Wasn't it PROVED that Clinton adm did NOT give China secrets??? If so, would appreciate links republicans would have to acknowlege.

Malloy repeatedly said at the time that H Barbour, now governor of MS, got lots of Chinese money for the republicans when he was the republican national chairman. Malloy said this was provable (unlike claims about Clinton) and had bad results for US.

In 1st year of W term in office didn't a top secret US plane go down in Chinese territory; after 'huffing and puffing' didn't plane stay there long enuff for Chinese to get all the secrets????

2. They own our country
or at least a good deal of our debt.
They've taken a large number of our jobs.
They thumb their nose at the big moron regularly.
Doesn't that entitle them to a few secrets? :+

their behavior is childish in the extreme, they blame others for their own actions or lie about
their behavior, after 6 years of majority rule, they own this f*****up.

5. Which Democrat with media access will criticise him for "lying"?
Edited on Thu Jul-13-06 04:18 PM by Dr Fate
Oh- none.

That is what I thought.

Our "strategy" of constantly letting lies go unchallenged is getting old.

6. GOPs didn't say a word when Bush INCREASED the MTOPS to China in 2002.
EWS
President Bush has eased the export restrictions on supercomputers, now allowing various "Tier 3" countries such as Pakistan, India, Vietnam, and others to be sold computers capable of 195,000 MTOPS (Millions of Theoretical Operations Per Second), up from the previous limit of 85,000 MTOPS. A common PC is said to be capable of just over 2,000 MTOPS. The restrictions were set up in 1979 in an attempt to keep various countries from using the technology to develop more potent weapons.

In January 2001, the Clinton Administration raised the MTOPS limit from 28,000 to 85,000. Previously, Clinton raised it in July 1999 up from 2,000, with a clause for an MTOPS increase every 6 months. The increases in MTOPS are aimed at keeping current with technology and providing less restrictive business practices to U.S. technology companies seeking to sell supercomputers to countries that at one point were not so friendly to us. A technology embargo blocking the sale of any supercomputers remains on countries including North Korea, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Cuba, Sudan, and Syria.

See EBNews for more on the Bush order and HindoOnNet for a recap of Clinton's policies.

9. and by the way, it was the spy Robert Hanssen who was the FBI informant
who told Novak and GOP senators that Clinton needed investigating for increasing the MTOPS to 85,000. That was how the whole Clinton helped the Chinese meme got started.

Not a word after Bush increased the MTOPS to 195,000 - and certainly no calls for an investigation.

8. Didn't Bush lose a spy plane to China?
Not to mention its crew, all of which were recovered intact by China, which refused to give anything back. It wasn't until Bush apologized twice and asked the Russians to help out that China returned the plane's crew, and shipped the spy plane in itty-bitty pieces back to us.

I'm sure there were no bad results for the U.S. from that right, Mr. Inhofe? Or have you forgotten all about that little incident?
