7. Absolutely
We have a new convention center with a bunch of brand new hotels, transportation D/T is easy with hundreds of great restaurants in walking distance. Which city could do a better job?

8. Phoenix with a brand new convention center, new stadiums
Great resort hotels, nice people, great D owned resturants near by, amazing natural splendor also close by and it would drive the Republicans nuts!

Phoenix if it's not one of the 3 remaining contenders?

3. give it a few years, and either of the big conventions may be in PHX
even if the Republicans come here, it'll be fun screwing with them.

6. That's a shame. That's EXACTLY where the Dems should go.
It'd be NONSTOP reminders in file footage of the wreckage of Katrina, shots of bush sitting there like a wart on a witch's nose, so uninvolved and incurious, and Brownie, of course, and that creepy skeletal michael chertoff, and all those people in agony. It'd be nice to remind America of what the "fabulous" republi-CONS have "done" for (or is that TO) our country and its people, and the least of our brethren. I think it's long past time we started rubbing their noses in it.
