Poll question: A conundrum related to a practical issue: Made in America |
|
Let's say there are two competing products. Let's say widgets. And let's say you can't live without them.
One is sold by a 60% Buy Blue company, but they're manufactured to that company's specs in China. They're of slightly lower quality and substantially lower price.
One is made by a family-owned American company, employing Americans. The family that owns the business is a known Republican supporter. These are rated "Best Widget in the World" and command a top, but not excessive, price.
Who do you buy the widgets from?

I guess it could be called a boycott, but if you don't need it or want it anyway.... is it?
I dunno.

So that he has to treat his workers fairly whether he's a republican or not.

That's a sound perspective. To my way of thinking, we have to preserve every job in the US that we can. The next step is to make sure our workers are given their due ... fairly.

4. Are the Republican widgets "union widgets"? |
|
If they are, I'd buy them.
