Is CNN Ginny Most or whatever the hell her name is making fun of Valerie |
|
Plame. Did she think that crappy report she just did on CNN showing clips from comedy movies was funny?

1. It was really stupid -- it made light of Valerie Plame, |
|
as if there was something "cute" about a female spy. It seemed as if Moos was trying to make her seem silly and superficial by comparing her to glamorous "girl" spies in the movies.

2. That's what I thought too. Like it was all big joke. Little girl wants |
|
to be a spy type of thing. Totally uncalled for and unprofessional.

5. CNN seems to be going out of it's way to discredit the Wilsons. |

This morning the VJ's on CNN were mocking Ms. Plame. Their bias was shameful. You would hope that news reporting was just that. Instead they wrap news inside of editorial comment and sell it as truth.
Edit: Ms. Moos normally does comical/absurd stories for CNN so that gives you an idea of the gravitas CNN applies to this story.

6. Didn't see it, but her "beat" |
|
is to do tongue in cheek light reports - the fact that CNN told her to "do" Plame tells EVERYTHING about that network's priorities to diminish this story to a joke. I suspect she didn't want to do it, but her type of "reporting" can be done by an intern and she is lucky to have a job at all - and knows it.

12. That's exactly right. Why did they ask her to do a DC story? She's NYC. |

Shameful. It's all a joke to CNN! It's that funny spy gal Valerie! It's a movie. Haven't watched CNN since 11/2004. Turned into to see ME coverage. And stayed to see what they would say about Plame. And you wonder why I say CNN is just as bad or worse than Fox. Because it's treated as legitimate and the propaganda is less obvious, it gets a pass.

8. That's the kind of report she always does |

It's just that she shouldn't have chosen the dead serious Plame story for her usual treatment. CNN brass might have pushed her to do that story.

10. Her report was a disgraceful piece of journalism. I presume that |
|
she intended some level of humor, an inappropriate idea. Mrs. Plame was working on issued pertaining to International arms sales. Cheney and company put a stop to that and jeopardized our safety. That's no joking matter.

Jeannie usually confines herself to light slice of life spots. This indicative, though, of the lengths CNN will go to protect its former pundit, Novak. I saw an analysis piece by Jeffrey Toobin, who is usually a pretty fair legal commentator, on the Plame lawsuit. It was a thinly veiled attack on the Wilsons which he delivered in a very awkward and defensive manner. Evidently the powers that be directed him to author a negative review and he complied. These people are pathetic. I guess the money and notoriety are enough for them to sell their souls.
