To poppy: "It's a damn shame you weren't sterile."
To Clinton: "What the hell are you doing running around with this fool?"

9. Why is Clinton defending Lieberman's stand on the war? |
|
Edited on Sat Jul-15-06 12:02 AM by calimary
Why is he defending bush on the war?
Why is he defending ANY war-hog's stand on the war?
WHY? Does he REALLY, TRULY, DEEP DOWN IN HIS HEART-OF-HEARTS think it was a good idea, or that it's produced good, desirable results, or that it's been an effective strategy? Does he REALLY think democracy should be forced down another sovereign nation's throat at gunpoint? Does he REALLY think that's a good thing that America should be about?
WHY is he making ANY excuses AT ALL for this utter abortion in OUR White House?
Granted, I think this is filed in the "rise above it" file, and I'm assuming he's rising to his own elder statesman calling. Which is nice, I suppose. But when you factor in who he's applying it to - the bushes, it's - well - disconcerting to say the least. He's sleeping with the enemy, and dancing with the Devil, circling the drain downward to the Dark Side. At times like that, I keep wondering whose side he's on.
