The GOP plan to destroy Medicare?

This week, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) unveiled a demonstration project that would allow health-insurance companies to offer products similar to HSAs to Medicare beneficiaries.

The administration has aggressively campaigned for the wide use of health savings accounts in the private sector. The accounts allow for tax-free saving and spending of money for medical costs and must be paired with high-deductible insurance plans to cover catastrophic expenses.

Conservative champions of HSAs and other so-called consumer-directed health plans also view the vehicles are part of a broader agenda to sever the ties between health coverage and employment or government entitlement programs.

1. Well, if Ralph Reed thinks insurance policies on elders in black churches
is a good way to make money, I can make the mental leap to the GOP wanting to frustrate seniors into giving up trying to get medical care so they will die off faster.

Any way to find out if someone has secretly taken out a life insurance policy on us?
