I finally found the changing of the guard (photo) JFK & young W Clinton

I saw the photo CNN while President Clinton was still in office. I wrote to the white house and CNN to see about getting a copy. No luck. I tried a goggle last night and found it in several places. I love goggle.

Boy's Nation delegate Bill Clinton, left, shakes hands with President John F. Kennedy, June 6, 1963.

2. I love that photo. Eerie.
I also think any photos of Elian Gonzalez shaking Fidel Castro's hand will be similar, historically.

8. Unfortunately, there probably will be someone
just as he (or whoever is guiding him) looked up to Nixon.

4. the eyes
I wish we could see JFK's eyes. Clinton's face says so much.

Thanks for posting this, Omaha Steve. It's a nice way to start the day.

Now if I can just avoid a photo of the dummy today...

7. That's an incredible (and quite historic) picture...
I can't recall any picture showing two presidents (whose administrations started 32 years apart) together, when one was a teenage boy! Perhaps one exists of TR and FDR, but I don't remember seeing it.

13. So much irony there
I betcha JFK wouldn't have ever thought that the boy he was shaking hands with would someday summons the U.S. Navy to find his son (JFK., Jr.) in the sea after a plane crash.

14. I was on Martha's Vineyard that fateful weekend
My first visit and looking forward to a lovely family vacation. I took my grandbaby outside to see the Coast Guard helicopter flying over, not realizing what had happened...
