You know what amazes me ?
Here we are in the middle of several issues that are all important and exploding . We have the stolen elections in Mexico , the occupation of Iraq , bush over in Germany and Russia making a fool of himself , Israel on the attack , the concern about the november midterms being stolen , North Korea , China , Japan , the USA suppling India with either weapons or information how to build nukes .

I am certain I have missed a few issues here . What amazes me is when one issue hits the news this is where all the focus is , all else seems to fall off and you really wonder what's going on in the moment with all these issues . i know it's difficult to focus on all of them at one time but we really need to keep them all out front .

If we had a real media much of this would be the same , breaking news like when OJ came on the scene .

2. I'd say the breakout of World War III is pretty significant
Regardless of which side we find ourselves on, Israel or the Palestinians, it's safe to say that this thing could very easily escalate out of control. We could soon find Syria, Iran, and all of NATO involved. That's assuming that North Korea doesn't decide to take advantage of the situation, or that China doesn't decide now is a good time to take over Taiwan, etc.

The other issues you bring up are important, but pale somewhat in comparison to what could be WWIII.

3. I'll tell you what amazes me: With all that is going on,
our fearless leader is not in Washington on the horn to every world leader, calling together every available source to help calm things down. Maybe he finds safety in G8 company and thinks other leaders will do his work. I am just shaking my head. His biggest concern is cutting into the pig. Not one past president that I have lived through would handle this mess in the same manner. Mindless blather is all that comes out of his mouth. Not action, not ideas, just blather. Heaven help all of us.
