3. Have you seen any polling on the primary lately?

Only polls I saw didn't include you when it was a three-horse race

4. Survey USA and our internal polls are VERY interesting

Anecdotally, my opponent in the primary has been telling nationally media and even Senator Kerry he does not have a primary, but June SurveyUSA showed him at 3%/35%/25%/10% for favorable/unfavorable.undecided/unknown after shelling out $1 million in a month long tv blitz.

Our sense is he knows that his star rose only because Laffey/Chafee have been beating each up over on the GOP side and my name recognition was not yet tied to the Be Patriotic Impeach Bush effort.

Our information suggests closer to a statistical dead heat and the local media is enabling the national impression he is leveraging.

Dewey/Truman here we come! Thanks for asking....

5. Having lived in RI for 1./2 of my life I will say that

this guy will not make it. People like Chaffee but will part with him if the other person is somewhat reasonable. Doesn't look like much of a fight. WSheeler willnot make it. I read the RI Papers every day. Listen to the R>I> News too.,
