Yeah - Right - Iran Has Convoys Of Weapons Going Through Iraq.... |
|
into Syria and then to Lebanon to supply the Hezbollah.
This is what they are trying to sell us now.
The U.S. has 130,000 soldiers in Iraq. There is a civil war going on. And we're to believe that Iran is supplying Lebanon - because what is going on in the Mideast is really between Iran and Israel.

2. A Variety Of Routes Are Available, Sir |

Ordinary air service between the capitals of Iran and Syria would suffice for some. The quantities and weights are not large. There is also the provision of monies to purchase items elsewhere on the open market, and sometimes these will be delivered first to the strawman holder from which they are "purchased" by the end user. It is a sort of thing very easily arranged.

3. Umm... but Iran *does* supply Hezbollah |
|
I don't know anybody who denies that. It's been difficult of late because of the 130,000 troops you mentioned (which, incidentally, was one of the main reasons we invaded Iraq in the first place, to put 130,000 armed Americans between Iran and Syria), but I would assume the descent of Iraq into a civil war has made it easier for Iran to run guns through Iraq to Lebanon, particularly through the south of Iraq.
I don't think the Sunni insurgents realized that the biggest benefactor of their tying up US forces in central Iraq would be Iran and Syria...

6. Funny, I've seen that headline a lot |

I think most Americans are pretty well aware of the fact that we give arms and a $&%*load of money to Israel.

You have got to be joking. Many Americans may have some clue of an Israeli-US alliance, but not how deep it goes.
Most Americans get their "news" from Fox, CNN, MSNBC, other alphabet channels. I am constantly seeing allusions to Iran supplying Hezbollah on these sites/channels, but never a headline letting our dear populace know they just payed for that missile that blew a bridge/school/airport/road in Lebanon.
