* The Middle East blowing up
* Billions of unaccounted for dollars to war profiteers
* Dangerous foreign debt
* CO2 levels reeking havoc
* The Bill Of Rights in tatters
* The Gulf Coast still a wreck
* A health care system that the insurance companies have ruined
* Voting irregularities and violations

And what is on the Republican controlled Congress plate?

* Gay marriage
* "In God we trust"
* "Late term" abortion
* Flag burning
* Endless "talk" about immigration reform
* Permanent tax cuts for the upper 1/10 of 1%
* ...and other distractions...

1. Amazing, isn't it?

Yet we still have 28% of Americans willing to follow Bush & Co. anywhere they choose to lead us. I admit, I didn't go to college, yet I'm smart enough to be terrified that 28% of the population could still, after all we've seen happen over the past five years, be as utterly clueless or as willfully blind as they seem to be.

And things just continue to get worse. Truly amazing.
