I have two words as to why we need to gain control of the house

James Sensenbrenner

This man needs to be removed as the chair of the House Judiciary Committee and what better person to replace him with then the great John Conyers (currently the democratic minority lead). Even Non-Sensenbrenner's own party finds him to be a bit of an asshole and I'd rather not take any chance with a different republican in charge.

Let's give Conyers a majority so he can be the House Judiciary Chairman. I can't think of a better person to run that committee who could actually make a difference for this country

House Judiciary Committee goes to the 'dogs'

The House Judiciary Committee is apparently becoming a "dog eat dog world" and committee Chairman, James Sensenbrenner is playing "ruff," according to a report by Mary Ann Akers in today's edition of ROLL CALL.

In a recent NY Times profile, Dan Lungren (R-CA) quoted football legend Vince Lombardi, saying, “He treats us all equally. He treats us all like dogs," about Sensenbrenner's management of the powerful committee. Sensenbrenner's response, according to Roll Call, included a bowl of doggie biscuits at the committee's meeting.

1. heh, "non-Sensenbrenner"

I agree; Sensenbrenner is a douchebag and Conyers would make a great Judiciary chair. Then he could, like, have meetings in an actual conference room instead of some basement.

Sensenbrenner is what Chris Farley would have come up with if he had done a parody of a Congressman.

4. Remarkable resemblance you point out to us.
I'm in his district and we are hoping for Brian Kennedy to replace him.

2. Yes, there is many reasons to vote for your Dem candidate
even if you don't love them. A Dem majority would go a long, long way.

3. You are so right................
We need to replace the neocons, fundamentalists, extremists, and psychopaths with intelligent, rational, reasonable and sane souls. The WH, House, Senate and Judiciary all need to be regained to put this nation back on the right track.

5. I have more than 2 words as to why we need to regain control of the Senate
Complicit Bush-league lapdog Senator Pat Roberts, Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and criminal co-conspirator of the coverup of the deception campaign aimed at manipulating public opinion and foreign policy regarding Iraq.

Senate Intelligence chairman quietly 'fixed' intelligence, and diverted blame from White House over Iraq
