The irony of Israel bombing Lebanon |
|
It would be terrible to be an American in Lebanon right now. Israel is bombing military and non-military targets with munitions paid for by US taxes.
Wouldn't it be ironical to be killed by bombs you paid for with you own taxes?
Now before people on either side start flaming me, it would also suck to be killed by any bomb from either side.
And yes, both sides hold blame.

If you got killed by an American made bomb because you couldn't evacuate because your country deliberately neglected you because they wanted you dead for political reasons.

3. It's not that much tinfoil. |
|
Bush's incompetence during Katrina led to greater loss of human life.
Furthermore, some 2,500 plus Americans are dead in Iraq, purely because of Bush's political machinations.

4. What's Ironic to Me is That the Lebanese Government is Anti-Syria |
|
and most of the population is pro-Syria.
If the Israeli bombing strikes have any major political effect, it is likely to be a movement back towards Syria. Which may be what they want, I don't know. Much easier to get American support and paint all Lebanese as terrorists.
