Anyone else feel there is too much talk and no action |
|
on all the channels and our government?
These people are talking nonstop as if they were witnessing a sports event. I don't understand how they can be so unemotional and matter of fact about such destruction and the unnecessary killing that is continuing day after day.
I just heard that this bombing is "scheduled" to continue for WEEKS.
We need action to get a cease fire, the evacuations accomplished and a permanent peace agreement.

1. Yes, A strong US President could ask both sides to cease fire |
|
and start talks. This (Mis)Administration is just waiting and dropping hints that Rice will do something soon. It is obvious that they do not care about human life. Are they waiting to allow Israel to complete some specific objective? Are they waiting for the results of the polls? Is * trying to finish "The Pet Goat" without upsetting the students.

Lebanese pigeon fanciers release birds they found alive under the rubble of houses that were destroyed when Israeli airplanes targeted them, in the town of Choueifat, at the southern edge of Beirut, Lebanon, Tuesday, July 18, 2006. Israel struck a Lebanese army base outside Beirut and flattened a house near the border, killing at least 10 people in a new wave of bombings, while Hezbollah fired rockets at northern Israel. The international community stepped up diplomatic efforts to end the conflict, which has sent foreigners fleeing by land, sea and air.
These Lebanese children were killed by Israel in self-defense, according to the US government. (Written in sarcasm I'm certain.)
