if the whitehouse can block the justice dept from looking at the.... |
|
....illegal wiretapping program, then is it possible the whitehouse was also able to block or reverse an indictment of karl rove in the valerie plame case?
i mean we know rove was the source. why then was there no indictment? is it possible leopold was right and that the rest of the media stood down on the story because they knew the justice dept was going to be overridden by the white house?
is it possible to get special prosecutor patrick fitzgerald under oath and ask him if he was coerced into dropping any charges to rove?

anyone know if the bush whitehouse could secretly get the justice dept to lay off the rove indictment and cover it up sufficiently so the dems wouldn't know about it?

scooter was indicted for perjury. rove wasn't indicted, what i heard on the tube was that he may have said, "to the best of my recollection, i had nothing to do with that. however, let me review and i will fwd everything ican find." thereafter, he forwards copies of everything related that is in his files. this leaves him looking clean in the public eye, he also gets to claim that he cooperated with the special prosecutor, etc.
