Hearings in DC tomorrow - In California, a SHAM - Our Diebold hearings!
Edited on Tue Jul-18-06 03:40 PM by LaPera
In California, for month's many concerned citizen's wrote letter's, send emails, made phone calls, printed fliers, wrote newspapers and personally showed up to hearings & meetings.

The same question that will be asked tomorrow in DC by Utah Democratic Congressman Jim Matheson...(Yes, it surprised the shit out of me too, that there' actually democrats elected in Utah).
http://www.house.gov/matheson/contact.shtml

The questions that led to the eventual hearings in Sacramento, California was the question.... Should more Diebold electronic voting machines be approved for the State of California?

Most people were NOT in favor of allowing more Diebold electronic voting machines into the state, and many more where there in Sacramento and San Francisco to protest the republican owned and extremely, easily hackable Diebold's privately owned machines...

IT WAS A SHAM!

The APPOINTED republican Secretary of State, Bruce McPherson pretended he was concerned --- It was proved and shown to him how easily one could hack a Diebold machine and change the memory card in less than two minutes, with no signs of tampering that won't even show up on the hacked machine.

How one machine is all it takes to change the reading on a string of Diebold machines connected up together, (the machines are purposely programmed that way by the republican owned Diebold corporation).

And how the machines have an infrared unit is built-in that can program Diebold machines from afar. Why is this even needed, except to tamper and change votes?

ALL this was shown and proved to the republican APPOINTED Secretary of State McPherson, Then sneakily on a Friday, of a three day week-end(a couple of month's ago)McPherson's office announces that the republican APPOINTED Secretary of State has approved the republican owned Diebold voting machines for the state.

(This to me has Karl Rove’s finger prints & signature all over it).

Since then…McPherson has just outright ignored and rejected any of the facts presented to him. McPherson will not, (since approving the Diebold machines) NOT show up to any of the promised meetings and hearings, he won’t take telephone calls about the Diebold machines and just pretends in statements that all is running smoothly with the Diebold machines as we head into a huge election in November in CA and the rest of the country.

But all is NOT running smoothly here in CA as was proved in San Diego last month using those same republican owned Diebold machines in question…Of course the machines said the republican candidate won…But in San Diego voters are screaming… “PROVE IT!"

Of course there is no way the Diebold machines can prove that the results are indeed correct or incorrect… the machines software was designed that way, so that we would all have to take the “word” of the machines... (The same Diebold machines owned by admitted hard-core republicans and huge Bush supporters).

Why does a private company own our voting machines in the first place? Machines that we (through our taxes) pay for! Should these machines be owned, programmed and operated by ANY private company or organization?

But that’s the Bush/Cheney republican way…privatize everything for the republicans and corporate benefit & interest!!

 :grr: :nuke:
