1. I didn't think even the freepers would think this was a good idea... |

WTF?
You know, maybe we should vote YES, just so that the administration thinks it's popular and will keep doing it, pissing off more people?
I mean, which Americans are in Lebanon, anyway?
Mercenaries, missionaries and oil company executives?

7. Didn't we invade Grenada to rescue C-students in a medical diploma mill? |

Surely, we can pick up the tab to rescue the families of oil executives, defense contractors, mercenaries, missionaries, and assorted "Hey, Lebanon would be fun this year" tourists.
You know...
I think there Americans and "intelligence assets" that the government doesn't want to make it out of Lebanon alive. How hard would it be for certain double-agents and others who "know too much" to disappear into the fog of war?
Or, for people the US wants to save alive... how hard for them to disappear and begin a new life under a new name?
Maybe based on one of those "stolen identities" from the Veterans Administration?

They want American citizens to pay to be evacuated but they don't have a problem paying the cost of the illegal Israeli settlers to evacuate Gaza with their US tax dollars. Go figure. The US government can shell out billlions to Israel but wants the money back from it's own citizens when they are in harms way. We're all just cannon fodder for the assholes and Americans are just too damn dumb to see it. Another neocon plan succeeds.

5. Fees not to be charged |
|
I'm very pro-Israel and think that the fees should not be charged. What the hell do we pay taxes for? I realize Bush has blown a hole in the budget, but this is ridiculous.

of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility,
provide for the common defense,
promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
-- The Constitution
For Bush and his cronies, the common defense is stuffing the pockets of their corporate war profiteer buddies to save us from "terrorism".
Anything resembling providing for the real common defense of American citizens is a 1-800 number where no one answers.
When is the nation going to wake up and throw these traitors and criminals in jail?
