bush would have opposed assisting Edison in researching the light bulb
to placate his base which would rather remain ignorant and in the dark.

the gop 2006 election strategy:

- Intensely hate gays
- Intensely oppose medical research by telling Alzheimers victims you don't value their lives
- Intensely insist that one religions' "values" be forced on our public document
- Wrap themselves in the flag, because they would rather wear the flag then a military uniform
- Intensely support the continued slaughter of non christians in the middle east
- Oppose Minimum Wage
- Work to destroy social security

Surely I have missed something, but I would like for a lurker to jump in here and set me straight. Some tried yesterday and got cuffed about pretty good WITH THE TRUTH.

1. And properly so! Why, you just can't trust these scientists, BossHog.
They're always up to no good.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to continue typing this string to the doorknob so I can pull this aching tooth...

2. Scientists are being hoodwinked by Satan.
Satan is a master of deceptions, as he fools scientists into seeing what Satan wants them to see.

4. I'm not sure
but I doubt he got a penny of federal funds nor asked for any. However, it would have been a worthwhile expenditure of the people's money. Edison was a bright person doing great things for mankind; in other words he would have been considered evil by "conservatives."

5. Whether or not Bush would oppose helping Edison...
would depend on whether or not the gaslight companies gave him campaign contributions

- They will try to sell the idea of being strong on national security issues, which is complete BS.
