College Dems convention in St. Louis, MO starts tomorrow.

Video invitation by Governor Dean who will be a speaker, as well as Pelosi, Clark, Vilsack, and Slaughter, others as well.

DNC interns leaving today.

Roadtripping their way to CDA, interns and staff leave for St. Louis!

Today we say "Bon Voyage" to a slew of staffers and interns who are on their way to St. Louis, Missouri for the College Democrats Convention.

Yeh, darn that DNC. Deb Rappaport says Dean is ignoring the young people. Doggone it, Howard, get your act together.

I did find that the money Rappaport (as part of the Democracy Alliance media ) refused to give the DNC was in part given to the YDA...apparently. I say apparently because they are pretty secretive about their money. Young Demcrats of America.

I have wondered why not just disburse it through DNC to the young Dems groups. Oh, well.

1. Dean spoke today.

"AP) Winning votes in the Midwest will be crucial to Democratic hopes to regain power in Washington in November, party Chairman Howard Dean told about 400 young people at the College Democrats National Convention on Thursday.

"We cannot be a national party unless we have the courage to ask every single American for their vote," Dean said.

He said holding the convention in Missouri dovetails with his "50-state plan" to build Democratic support in states that have voted Republican over the last six years."
