Is Iraq being forgotten with the Israel Hezbollah conflict?

Found this article once again hidden under all the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. Is Bush happy that the focus is being taken of Iraq? Sorry had to edit per the rules. But you can find full article at link below. Thanks "CottonBear" for letting me know.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi police found 38 tortured bodies and witnessed the slow release of five hostages amidst general violence throughout Baghdad Thursday.

At least three people were killed and 10 others wounded Thursday when a car bomb exploded on a busy central Baghdad street, Iraqi emergency police said.

Also Wednesday, kidnappers abducted more than 20 members of the agency that cares for Sunni religious sites nationwide. And police found 10 bodies dumped in the capital.

1. Yes, on purpose imo. In fact, I wouldn't put it past this admin to
stir the pot specifically to get the attention off of Iraq.

2. But but but the world is so much better off without Saddam.
:sarcasm:

There was a better solution than invasion, but Repubs want war, war, war!

3. 6,000 people were killed in Iraq in one recent month. People are fleeing
the country in huge numbers. The professional, business and academic classes are leaving or have already left. The country is collapsing.

You need to edit your post to include no more than 4 paragraphs of the article as per DU and copyright rules.

4. Most people did not care before the conflict in Lebanon started anyway.

There is nothing new going on in Iraq, just more of the same and worse.
