Is there a list of relatively moderate articles?

Is there a source of relatively moderate articles and opinions that a person could email to others who still might sit on the fence as far as the current administration and legislature?

Info that is informative, but with some emotional basis...but not too offensive to those who have been endlessly indoctrinated from birth and still get their news from the mainstream media....i.e....the American people.

1. Common Dreams
They reprint articles and have some original content.

You have to be selective in what you use. Some of it may be a bit strident for those you might be tryong to reach. But they also have a lot of articles that would fit your description.

3. My right wing mother has described Thom Hartmann as reasonable.
Coming from her, that's high praise for a liberal! ;) Here is a wonderful webpage with two small sections of his book "We the People: A Call to Take Back America."

This is such an excellent book I gave a copy to everyone on my list last holiday season. ;) It is written comic book style, but it is a timely reminder of what we learned in 5th grade civics class. He discusses The Commons, corporate personhood, the neocons, the two party system, & my favorites parts, past crises that our democracy has faced & how we overcame them. This isn’t the first time we’ve been down this road.

CommonDreams has most all of his articles, which are almost always spot on & here is a link to his website.

And he's vegetarian!
