That evil moronic bastard is NOT my president. No one should give him that kind of respect--especially since he STOLE the presidency TWICE. I especially hate it when intelligent, informed liberals like Amy Goodman (who is my hero) refer to him that way...

I will NEVER call him that.

He deserves to be in jail, not the White House.

1. Especially given the pains taken never to refer to
President Clinton--while in office-- as anything other than "Bill Clinton" or "Clinton."

The media were the worst offenders.

16. You are so right.
I was watching the news one night and was struck by the fact that the first story referred to Clinton frequently with no mention of title. This was followed by a story concerning the Uni-bomber who was always referred to as Mr. Kazinsky (sp?).
So the corporate media signaled its viewers that the President of the United States was entitled to less respect than a seriously disturbed man planting lethal explosives.
After the disputed/stolen election of 2000 and the events of 9/11, the MSM did everything they could to shield the realities of W from the public. They continue to cover for him to this day, but his basic gaucheness continues to peek through at those moments his handlers can't control.
The oxymoron to end all oxymorons is "President Bush".

6. Unfortunately, I agree, and that is scary.
I wholeheartely believe he stole both elections, but the reality is he only had to steal about 5% to tip the balance. There were that many who actually did vote for him.

I've been depressed, lately.

7. Not really. The GOP owned the vote-counters. That doesn't mean
the votes were there.

12. I have never refered to him as President....
it's always Bush or W. As far as I'm concerned, the rightful President is Al Gore. Bush only occupies the Whtie House, nothing more.

14. Couldn't agree more...
Since the day he stole office, I've not ONE TIME referred to him using that honorific/title. I judiciously avoid even saying his surname - even that makes me want to barf. The sight of his face or sound of his voice make my blood pressure rise.

You know how some people refer to him (in writing) as the "pResident". How about we go one step further - "pea-brainedResident". I know - sounds much better than it reads.

15. This reminds me of a time, years ago, when I asked my Spanish-born
Spanish teacher what she thought of President Franco having recently died, and she replied "General Franco was never the President of Spain".
