There was an interesting discussion between Bob Shrum and Pat Buchannon on Hairballz earlier tonight. Both Shrum and Buchannon pretty much agreed ..... if this shit in Lebanon continues much longer we might really be fucked.

Here's the theory:

We screwed up with Iraq and it is just a matter of time until Iran pretty much controls it.

The Israelis are getting not only Hezbollah, but much of Lebanon. They're going after critical infrastructure, for example. If the democratic government that is just now getting into its own in Lebanon falls, there will be an Iranian crescent that runs from Iran, through Iraq and Syria, and to the Mediterranean, through Lebanon.

I see this as a real possibility. In essence, both men agreed that this was our worst nightmare and that it is entirely the fault of bad, bad policy on the part of the neocons, and most specifically, Il Dunce.

but I took your advice and built a pot rack over the window for less then $20! I'll take pics in a couple days, you'll love it! it entails a steel plumbing pipe, a couple 2x4 scraps, 'O' rings and 'S' hooks

but today we made great strides and the potential is starting to show finally
